Karen is happy for her trip to Yosemite.  Alan Liu is just happy.  Alan C is happy about the Stroll kickoff party and the Rotarians who attended. Marty is happy about the Stroll party.

Sgt at Arms Steve:

Did football table trivia where everyone ends up paying.  Apparently the answer to “key” trivia question of “what is a collection of Frogs” is an army.

Today’s Program:

Margaret Lynch, of the El Cerrito Planning Dept, was the guest speaker.  She came to give us an update on various city projects.   Margaret has been an El Cerrito resident 10 yrs.  She has been in her current position for six months and very much enjoys her work. Margaret came from the city of Alameda. The projects she addressed included:

Farmers Market

Refreshing San Pablo Ave

Chatted about the development and how it impact traffic and other residents concerns

Urban greening plan and Prop 84

6431 Portola Dr mixed use of 67 units and more

Eden Senior House (old Tradeway site)

128 Condo Unit at El Cerrito Plaza

Margaret finished her presentation with a snapshot of the city’s immediate calendar with an array of items on the city agenda.  Margaret presented lots of good information about what the City is doing.

Today’s Lottery Winners:

Sal had his ticket drawn and won the bottle of wine.  Sal also had his ticket pulled for the marble drawing and selected a catseye.  Next week the pot will be $60.
