 President Terry:  Opened today’s meeting by greeting everyone.  The flag salute was led by Mark Scott and Terry provided the thought for today.

Guests and visiting Rotarians:  

Sal’s guest today was Bruce a former Stanford Professor.  Jan had a guest, Sue Bennerr.


  • March 23rd is the monthly BARSHEEP TGIFF. We are the hosts for the event and it will be held at the Club.  Plan on attending.  It is from 5:30 to 7:30p. 
  • The Berkeley Club is conduction a Community Service Project in Yosemite on Mar 9-11. They looking for Rotarians to come and help them.  For more information contact President Terry. 
  • We need a speaker for our meeting on March 29th.


Happy Dollars:   

Michael is happy was happy.  Gary is happy that Stephanie attended the Rotary Board meeting and took the notes.  Marla is happy to be back after acting as the General contractor for her house remodel. Our guest speaker Tina had $20 for being here and acknowledged Rotary for all we do.  Mark is happy to be up and around and hoping his Achilles will stop bother him.  Sonya is happy to be back and told the story of her son sending flowers on Valentine ’s Day.  Jack is happy to be without his cast.  Marty is happy Sonya has returned.  Tracy is happy daughter Sarah is coming home for a visit.  She has a boy friend and Tracy is please about this. 


 Sgt at Arms Sal:    Was on duty today and did table trivia where he cashed in on most everyone.  We learned how St Valentine’s day came about, what the coldest weather ever in Alaska and a couple other important things.  We got a good value for our education.


 Other Interesting Things:

President Terry showed us a video on Rotary Youth Exchange and how powerful it is.


 Today Program:

Lee introduced our speaker today, Tina Greebaum who was on hand to deliver a great presentation on Mastery Under Pressure.  Tina gave us some background by way a family story which involved her getting her taking and passing her license exam to get her Social Worker license in California.  Tina came to California about three years ago and had done work in DC, New York and a couple other eastern states.  She had to go through the six hour exam process and she used that experience to deliver her message on what it takes to accomplish Master Under Pressure.   Tina did a interactive process with us to show us how we use Knowledge, Strategy and Mental understanding to accomplish what we want.  She demonstrated where we “store” stress and how that is a block to success.  She gave example of Olympic competetors using similar techniques to become world class athelics  Tina show us where we “store” stress in various part of our body.  Tina summarized her presentation by inviting take steps to control of our talents and abilities and invited us to got to www.materyunderpressure.com and take a quiz she provides for those who want to learn more.

Sue won the bottle of wine.  Jan had her ticket pulled for the marble game and drew a catsye marble, next week the jackpot will be $80.
