Today’s Program.

President Terry introduced Rafael to make his presentation on a three week trip to Dubai with his family.  This was a wonderful trip and gave them a chance to see a very affluent Arab culture in the UAE countries.  Rafael took a lot of great video’s and pictures of their experience.  He also gave us a great summary of the environment, the people and the culture.  The UAE is made up of seven countries Kuwait, Qatar and five other countries.  These wealthy oil rich Arab countries have developed economies that flourish on the oil exports.  What Rafael told us was about the almost endless building of structures on the island that have taken on almost an other worldly character.  The attractions include the tallest building in the world along with the shopping malls which are the largest in the world.  The huge flower displays which are made in animal shape along with light displays that light up in awesome displays.  These attractions were built for the mega wealthy royalty of the countries.  Rafael explained the facts about this type of country which is haves and have nots who do all the work to achieve the results they have achieved.  Then he went on to explain how a country like the USA represents so much more to people than the one he visited.  Great presentation!!
