Today’s Program:
Nancy introduced Patti Barsotti, who works at Mechanics Bank and is a long time Kiwani members to speak to us about “how to keep our club strong. She did a great presentation about the various factors that are critical in keeping a volunteer organization strong. She took us through botht the tangible and intangible aspects of being a member of Rotary or Kiwanis. . Since these are two of the larger community service organization. Patti asked for us to provide feedback about whey we are so passionate about our volunteer activities and she documented these items. Then we got to share info about our own personal things that make being a community service person valuable. Pattie gave a recognition prize (a tangerize) for those who participated. This was and excellent presentation and I believe that everyone enjoyed because it touched us and spoke to our hearts as Rotarians. Thanks to Nancy for bringing Patti to speak to use.
