Today’s Program:

Tracy introduced Sara Diamond who is an estate planning attorney to speak to us today about her Astrologist advocation.  She began by explaining her interest in Astrology and how the study of stars has brought about a lot of joy and interaction with other professional astrologists.  Sara explained how astrology is truly the connection of sciece and art.  Everyone has some familiarity with their sign of the Zodiac and Sara set about explaining what this really means.  Sara used the chart of a very famous person to demonstrate how this process can tell us a great deal about the person.  We heard a lot of about the characteristics of the subject and in the end we most of us were able to guess who the chart was describing.   In addition to being very informative we were able to discover how a persons characteristics shown by their astrological chart tell us a lot of interesting and important things about them.  This was a wonderful enjoyable and entertaining presentation.  Makes it possible to see why many folks are interested in their astrological signs.  Sara encouraged everyone to seek out a professional (such as herself) to get a personal study for yourself.

Thank you to Tracy for inviting Sara to speak to us today.  It was a great gift you gave your fellow Rotarians!!

Sara Diamond was our very interesting speaker today

Todays Raffle:  Tracy won the bottle of wine.  Gary had his ticket drawn for the marble raffle and selected a cats eye marble.  Next week the pot will be $125.  Andy won the Berkeley Rep tickets and will enjoy attending the concerts the remainder of the season.

Thought for the Day:  at this special time of year, we all think about things that make us feel good about ourselves and others.  Give a special thought and prayer for those who are less for less fortunate and consider just how fortunate we have so many others who give us so much!!
