Todays Program:

President Marty introduced Mark Figone to tell the lastest in trash and recycling requirements current and future.  Mark gave us a great summary of where things stand in the recycle and trash business.  He summarized of the key legislation that has been put on the books and will bring more challenges to his company and rate payers.  Some of the things that will have to be changed are barrels in which we deposit things so the colors are uniform with the new standards.  Mark pointed out that his computer system will have to be upgraded so his company can track the numerous things that are monitored.  Lots of challenges and a number of industrial factors will also be changed. There will be a number of things happening in the Refuse Industry and you can be alert for the things as they occur.  Always Mark provide us an excellent presentation.  I just hope you were on hand to hear what he had to tell us.  As always, our Rotarians bring us the best of our presentations.
